CI 341 - Management Information Systems Semester Hour(s): 3 Semester(s) Offered: Fall and Spring Pre-Requisite(s): CI 101 A managerial overview of information systems. The course is an introduction that focuses on the technical aspects of information systems from a managerial perspective. Topics include managing and developing information systems, managing telecommunications and networks, the strategic role of IS, managing data resources, the internet and e-business, managing knowledge, the information technology infrastructure, hardware and software issues in IT and IS security.
