AS 112 - Principles of Welding II
Semester Hour(s): 3
Co-Requisite(s): AS112L
This course covers welding theory and safety, thermal cutting, and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). The course will include curriculum content and assessments through the “U-Link Curriculum” by Lincoln Electric. Students will have an opportunity to earn certifications in welding safety, welding principles, OFC certification, PAC certification, CAC-A, and SMAW certification through NC3.
