EQ 325L - Equine Massage Therapy Lab Semester Hour(s): 1 Semester(s) Offered: Fall Pre-Requisite(s): EQ 238 , EQ 239 Co-Requisite(s): EQ 325 This lab provides essential teaching and personal practice time in the physical application of equine massage therapy techniques and practice as taught in EQ 325 . The student has ample time to learn, develop and practice the physical art and science of equine massage therapy under the watchful instructive presence of the instructor in the George M. Humphrey Equestrian Center. Hands-on practice with athletic horses will provide the opportunity for the student to develop a basic understanding of the common conditions and pathological abnormalities of athletic horses. Good Standing in Horse Care Responsibility Standards is required.
