Sociology Minor

A minor in Sociology allows students to gain a broad understanding of how social institutions, contributed to the advantages and disadvantages of individuals and groups in society. The program guides students to use critical thinking skills to understand the complex relationships between individuals and institutions and appreciate the multidimensional nature of social issues. A minor in sociology provides students with a better understanding of themselves and other and improve their ability to navigate a diverse multicultural world
