Applied Undergraduate Research Minor

The minor in Applied Undergraduate Research is designed to provide students the opportunity to engage in a focused research topic of their own choosing, while working in collaboration with a faculty mentor or collaborator. The minor mandates some basic research-based curriculum, plus a self-directed aggregate of individual research within the School of choice. Students will engage in a novel research project culminating in a presentation of work to peers and faculty.

Additional Information
Individual research course designation will be determined by the subject content. For example, individual research in biological sciences will receive a “BI” course designator. Students will complete Individual Investigation paperwork from the Registrar’s Office to register for these courses.
