EQ 331 - Equine Lameness

Pre-Requisite(s): EQ 210 , EQ 320 
A study of the etiology, pathogenesis, signs, treatment and possible prevention of many musculoskeletal problems of the horse. Slides and x-rays are used to demonstrate normal and abnormal conditions. Prevention of lameness through proper conditioning will be discussed. Students routinely participate in care and management of school horses. Good Standing in Horse Care Responsibility Standards is required.
