ASL 102 - American Sign Language II Semester Hour(s): 3 This course reinforces and expands on the fundamentals of American Sign Language (ASL) used by the Deaf Community, including basic vocabulary, syntax, fingerspelling, and grammatical non-manual signals. There will be a focus on both receptive (understanding) and expressive (signing) skills. In addition to learning the basics of the language, the course will also reinforce the concept of Deaf culture including the history, values, norms, and traditions.
