EDCS 201 - Programming and Algorithms I Semester Hour(s): 4 This course is an introductory look at the elements of the Python programming language. These basic concepts will allow the student to build programs to solve computing problems. In addition, this course will focus on functions and solving problems by creating algorithms. The projects will solidify your understanding of concepts learned by identifying algorithms to use in solving specific problems. This course will be taught in collaboration with Auburn Career Center. Upon completion of Programming and Algorithms I & II, an optional PCEP™ industry credential is available at additional cost to the student.
