SS 322 - Adulthood and Aging Semester Hour(s): 3 Semester(s) Offered: Spring even years Pre-Requisite(s): PS 101 This course examines the processes and consequences of an increasingly aging population. It focuses on the U.S., but considers this phenomenon in other societies as well. Students will consider changes in the individual, social environment and institutions, including the growth of retirement communities, group differences, social services and social policies.
