SP 490 - Senior Research Project

Pre-Requisite(s): for graduating seniors in the Spanish Major
Students preparing a thesis take this course in their final semester of the year they are scheduled to graduate. The course will cover development of a written proposal in consultation with the faculty member of the student’s choice, meetings with the thesis advisor to assess progress, develop thesis focus and explore challenges and issues of research methods. Submission of the thesis to the advisor in the penultimate week of classes is required. Major theses vary greatly in thematic elements as well as in representation of research findings.
