BI 100 - Concepts of Biology Semester Hour(s): 3 Semester(s) Offered: Fall and Spring This course explores the breadth of modern biology and is intended to illuminate relevant science issues in society. The specific focus of this course will change from semester to semester and may include any or all of the following topics: human health concerns, genetics and reproduction, the role of biotechnology in medicine and food production, biodiversity loss and habitat degradation and global climate issues.
