OSH 113 - Safety Data Sheet Usage in the Laboratory

Pre-Requisite(s): OSH 101 All potentially hazardous materials entering a laboratory have a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
This course reviews the various sections of the MSDS, what information can be found in each section and most importantly, how this information can help employees to work safely in their laboratory. This course will also cover complying with the employee training requirements of OSHA’s newly adopted GHS regulations as well as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard format for MSDS. Repeatable for Credit.
