HU 120 - Travels Through Time and Space Semester Hour(s): 3 Semester(s) Offered: Fall and Spring An interdisciplinary humanities course that will guide students through a reading of at least two challenging texts (one classical, the other modern) which address common issues from different perspectives. Students are expected to gain understanding of the nature of liberal education; the process of critical thinking; the value of different approaches to a single subject; the lasting impact of important works and ideas and variations in perspectives within different cultures.
