GT 230 - Data Acquisition and Management

The course provides a general survey of basic methods of data acquisition, and of the design and management of databases within the specific data requirements of GIS. Students will examine methods of digitizing preexisting data and explore database development and management. They will use these sills to complete applied GIS projects.
