GT 210 - Remote Sensing Semester Hour(s): 2 Semester(s) Offered: Fall odd years Pre-Requisite(s): GT 120 Co-Requisite(s): GT 210L This course provides an introduction to remote sensing and digital photogrammetry, with an emphasis on orthoimagery and LIDAR imagery and their use in geospatial technology. Topics include identification of types of remotely sensed imagery, electromagnetic spectrum, sensor types, resolution, image classification, georeferencing, and digital photogrammetric functions, including image processing, resampling, compression, and measurements.
